  • CENTRE FILLING:
  • MIX 3/4 cup walnuts (I use pecans)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • SET ASIDE:
  • MIX; 1/2 lb. butter
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 cups sifted flour (cake & pastry)
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 pint sour cream

Step 1

10" tube pane GREASED
mix as for any cake
alternate centre filling and cake. bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
cool 1 hour in pan.
