Preparation

Step 1

PREPARE gelatin as directed on package. Measure 2/3 cup gelatin into small bowl; chill until slightly thickened. Pour remaining gelatin into parfait or any stemmed glasses, filling each glass about 1/2 full. Tilt glasses in refrigerator by catching bases of glasses between bars of refrigerator rack and leaning tops of glasses against wall. Chill until set but not firm.

WHIP reserved gelatin at high speed of electric mixer until fluffy and thick. Spoon lightly over set gelatin in glasses. Chill upright until set, about 2 hours. Garnish with whipped topping and JELL-O Jigglers, if desired.

Jello Jugglers:

2 1/2 cups boiling water or boiling fruit juice
4 packages (4-serving size each) or 2 packages (8 serving size each0 Jello Gelatin, any flavor

Add boiling water to gelatin. Dissolve completely. Pour into 13x9-inch pan. Chill until firm, about 3 hours.

Dip pan in warm water about 15 seconds for easy removal of Jello Jigglers. Use cookie cutters to cut decorative shapes in gelatin (hearts for Valentine's Day, pumpkins for Halloween, stars for sports parties, etc.). Remove from pan. Cut remaining gelatin into cubes. Makes about 3 dozen.

Notes: For thicker Jello Jigglers use 8 or 9 inch square pan.

To use ice cube trays or Jello Jiggler molds, pour dissolved gelatin into 2 or 3 ice cube trays. Chill until firm, about 2 hours. To remove, dip trays in warm water about 15 seconds. Moisten tips of fingers; gently pull from edges and remove from trays.
