Ingredients

  • 3 cups organic brown rice puffs (Nature's Path brand)
  • 3/4 cups organic peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup organic maple syrup (or raw agave nectar)
  • 2 tablespoons organic coconut oil (melted/liquid)
  • 2 teaspoons organic vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pink himalayan salt
  • Optional
  • 1 scoop Raw Protein Powder (Garden of Life brand)

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, stir together the peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil (melted/liquid), vanilla, pink himalayan salt (and protein powder if used) until well combined and creamy.

In a larger bowl, mix the peanut butter mixture into the rice crispies and stir until well combined, using your hands if necessary.

Press firmly into a glass bread pan to make bars or shape into bite-sized balls.

Put in the refrigerator for about 10 - 15 minutes until they firm up.
