Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/4 C dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 C finely chopped onion
- 2 T chopped fresh mint
- 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
- 2 T lemon juice
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp each salt and ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices tomato
- 4 whole wheat sesame burger buns.
- Quick Cucumber Pickles
- 1/3 C white vinegar
- 1 T granulated sutar
- Pinch each salt and pepper
- half english cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp chopped fresh mint

Preparation
Step 1
Quick Pickles; In saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper; bring to boil, stirring. Reduce ehat and simmer for 2 mintutes; add cucumber and mint. chill for 1 hour.
In bowl beat egg, mix in crumbs, onion, mint, lemon rind and juice, mustard, garlic, salt, cumin and pepper. Min in beef; shape into 4, 3/4-inch thick patties.
Place on greased grill over medium heat; cook, turning once, for 12-14 minutes or until no longer pink inside. Top with pickles and tomato.
