Ingredients
- 12 ounces of ground turkey
- 4 teaspoons of vegetable oil
- 2 cup of chopped celery
- 2 cup of chopped onions
- 2 cup of chopped green bell pepper
- 8 ounces of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup of tomato puree
- 2 tablespoon of firmly packed brown sugar
- 4 hamburger buns, cut in half and toasted

Preparation
Step 1
Brown turkey using back of wooden spoon to crumble meat; drain fat. In 8 inch non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium heat; add celery, onions, pepper; sauté, stirring occasionally, until onions are translucent. Add turkey, cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes; stir in remaining ingredients except buns and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until turkey is cooked through and flavors are blended, 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
