Ingredients
- FILLING:
- 8 oz. cream cheese, (softened)
- 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- BASE:
- 1 package Devil’s Food cake mix
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease and flour 13x9” pan. In small bowl blend all filling ingredients; beat at highest speed until smooth and creamy. Set aside. In large bowl blend cake mix, water, oil and eggs until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at highest speed. Pour half of batter into prepared pan. Pour cream cheese mixture over batter, spreading to cover. Pour remaining batter over cream cheese mixture.
Bake 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool (frost as desired)
