Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 med red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup of dried cranberries
- 1 tbsp. of brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. of balsamic vinegar
- Veg . oil
- 1 round (approx 15oz) brie cheese
- 1/4 cup pistachio nuts or slivered almonds

Preparation
Step 1
Serve with crackers (I like the cracked pepper Carr's table water kind)
Cook brie in oven (350) for about 10mins (use oil under cheese)
Melt butter in skillet over med. heat.
Cook onion for about 10mins., stir frequently
Stir in Cranberries, brown sugar and vinegar. Cook for about 5 mins. Stir often until mixture is thickened and caramalized
add mixture on top of heated cheese and serve with crackers....
Note: You can make the topping 24 hours in advance, refrigerate and reheat prior to serving (do this often as one less thing to organize prior to hosting)
