Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons coffee liquor
- 2 teaspoons vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
In saucepan add milk, sugar and cream. Heat until sugar is disolved. Remove from heat.
Add cocoa powder and wisk until blended. Add bittersweet chocolate wisk until melted.
Let cool.
Put egg yolks into mixer with paddle and mix with sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add chocolat mixture into eggs and sugar and then put back into saucepan and heat on low while stirring until thick. Put mixture into sieve and add chocolate liquor and vanilla. Stir and place plastic wrap onto top of mixture, chill in fridge until fully cold. Pour mixture into ice cream maker, add whatever you want to enhance and then freeze.
