Ingredients
- 3 T vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, minced
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1 T dry mustard
- 1 T packed brown sugar
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp each celery seeds, dried tarragon and cinnamon
- 3/4 C chili sauce
- 1/2 C pure maple syrup
- 1/3 C orange juice
- 1/4 C cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp liquid smake
- 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation
Step 1
In saucepan, heat oil over medium heat; cook onion and garlic for 2 to 3 minutes or until softened.
Stir in mustard, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, celery seeds, tarragon and cinnamon. Add chili sauce, maple syrup, orange jiuce, vinegar, liquid smoke and salt.
Simmer, uncovered and stirring often, for 25 minutes or until thickened and glossy.
Can cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
