Ingredients

  • 3 cans (15-1/2 ounces each) great northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • 6 hot dogs, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Step 1

In an ungreased 2-qt. baking dish, combine all ingredients. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until heated through. Yield: 8 servings.

These are a little bit sweeter than most baked bean dishes that I make, but they are still pretty good.

I made this only I used pinto beans, a ham hock (instead of the hotdogs), and I let them simmer in the slow-cooker
