"Crock Pot" Italian Style Roast

Not your traditional roast, potatoes and carrots but, it's easy to put together before you head off to work or when you know you are going to have a busy day. It's soooo good and smells sooo good too :) Enjoy !!

Ingredients
- 2 ounces tomato paste, canned
- 4 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 2 envelopes dry onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 4 pounds chuck roast
- 32 ounces diced tomatoes, canned
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 2 potatoes, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 4 bay leaves

Preparation
Step 1
Mix together all ingredients except roast.
Place roast in slow cooker. Add soup mixture.
Cover; cook on Low 8-10 hours or on High 4-5 hours.
Remove bay leaves before serving.
