Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 t. baking soda
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 3/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1 T. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

2. Grease cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.

3. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

4. In large mixer bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended.

5. Beat in the vanill, egg and egg yolk until light and creamy.

6. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended

7. Stir in chocolate chips by hand.

8. Drop dough 2 T. at a time on to cookie sheets, about 2-3" apart.

9. Bake for 15-17 minutes, or til edges are lightly golden.

10. Cool 2-3 min on cookie sheet, then cool on rack.
