Ingredients
- 2 C. flour
- 2 C. quick oats
- 1 1/2 1 ½ C. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 ½ tsp. salt
- 1 C. butter, melted
- 1 C. semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 C. chopped pecans (opt)
- caramel topping-most of a 16 oz. bottle (or 50 caramels + ½ C. evaporated milk)

Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, salt, soda, and butter. Press ½ of crumbs into bottom of greased 9x13. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Cover with caramel sauce, sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until brown.
Chill 1-2 hours Cut into bars. Let warm up on counter a few minutes.
