Pancake Puppies

Ingredients

• Pancake Puppies
• ● 3 cup pancake mix
• ● 1/3 cup sugar
• ● 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• ● 1/2 tsp nutmeg
• ● 2 eggs, beaten
• ● 3/4 cup milk
• ● 2 tbsp oil, plus more for frying
• ● untitled ingredient
• Icing
• ● 1 cup powdered sugar
• ● 1-2 tbsp milk
• ● 1 tsp vanilla or maple extract

Preparation

Step 1

1. Pour several inches of oil into a deep saucepan.
2. Begin heating it up to 375℉ over med-high heat.
3. Must use a cooking thermometer to get it to right temp and not overheat oil.
4. In a large bowl, combine pancake mix, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add milk.
5. Then add in beaten eggs and 2 tbsp of oil.
6. Give it a good stir.
7. Scoop batter up using a spoon or a small cookie scooper and drop into hot oil. Don't overfill scoop.
***DON'T MAKE TOO BIG AND DON'T LET OIL GET OUT OF CONTROL HOT!
8. Cook in small batches
9. Flip them over once so they cook evenly on all sides.
10. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar or make icing to dip them in.
