Oatmeal S'more Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 C. butter, softened
• 1/2 C. shortening
• 1 C. brown sugar
• 1/2 C. sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 2 1/4 C. flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1 C. old-fashioned oats
• 1 C. chocolate chips
• 1 C. miniature marshmallows

Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips and marshmallows.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350* for 11-13 min. or until golden brown. Cool for 1-2 min. before removing from pans to wire racks.
