    pounds ground beef

  • 1

    jar (16 ounces) Pace® Picante Sauce

  • 1

    cup crushed tortilla chips

  • ½

    cup shredded Cheddar cheese


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Thoroughly mix the beef, 2/3 cup picante sauce and tortilla chips in a large bowl. Place the beef mixture into a 3-quart shallow baking pan and shape into an 8 x 4-inch loaf. Bake for 1 hour or until the meat loaf is cooked through. Sprinkle the meat loaf with the cheese. Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Heat the remaining picante sauce in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat to a boil. Serve the sauce with the meat loaf.
