Ingredients

  • Two 8 oz cans crescent rolls (8 triangles actually needed)
  • 2 granny smith apples
  • 1 cup of butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 can (12 oz) of mountain dew soda (or ginger ale or lemon lime)
  • Brown cinnamon to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Peel apples and then slice into 8 equal wedges
wrap each wedge into dough beginning at the wide end.
Lay in 8x10 glass baking dish with seam down.
Melt butter and add sugar and vanilla extract and stir a few minutes then pour over rolls.
Then pour soda on top of everything.
Sprinkle top with cinnamon
Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown at 350 degrees
can be served with vanilla ice cream
