Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 pkg. (16 oz.) elbow macaroni, cooked
  • 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Cheddar (or mozzarella) Cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2-1/2 cups milk
  • Paprika

Step 1

HEAT oven to 350°F.

CUT butter into small pieces; place in bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish.

LAYER half each of the macaroni, VELVEETA and Cheddar over butter in baking dish. Beat egg and milk with whisk until well blended; pour half over ingredients in baking dish. Repeat with remaining macaroni, VELVEETA, Cheddar and milk mixture.

BAKE 15 min.; stir carefully until well blended. Bake an additional 15 min. or until macaroni mixture is heated through and top is golden brown.
