Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. sliced almonds
- 1 T. flour
- 1 T. milk

Preparation
Step 1
Combine eggs and sugar; beat with electric mixer until thick and lemon-colored. Stir in flour, butter and almond flavoring. Pour into greased and floured 9x12-inch pan. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Combine remaining ingredients in small saucepan and cook over low hear, stirring constantly until sugar is completely dissolved and mixture thickens. Spread on cake. Broil 4-inches from heat for 3 to 5 minutes, or until top is brown and bubbly.
