Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter, softened and cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup crushed walnuts
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbs lemon juice
  • 2 (3.4 oz) packages instant lemon pudding mix
  • 3 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 (12 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, combine the flour and butter using a pastry cutter until dough is combined and crumbly. Press into the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely (about 15 minutes).

In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar, and lemon juice together until smooth and well blended. Spread evenly over the cooled crust. In another bowl, whisk together the lemon pudding mix and milk for 3-5 minutes. Spread over the cream cheese layer. Chill until set(at least 1 hour), then top with whipped topping.
