Ingredients
- DOUGH:
- 1 1/4 C. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 C. sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- FILLING:
- 1 egg white
- 1 C. cround walnuts
- 1/2 C. sugar
- Topping:
- Confectioners sugar for dusting

Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix flour,baking powder and salt
2. Beat together butter, cream cheese and sugar in mixing bowl until creamy.Beat in egg yolk and vannila. Stir in flour mixtre. Divide dough into thirds, shape each into disk. Wrap in plastic: refrigerate until well chilled.
3.FILLING:
Beat egg white in smal bowl until fluffy . Mix in gound walnuts and sugar.
4. Heat oven to 350
5. Roll each disk to 6-7 inch circle. spread on third of filling on each circle, leaving 1/4 inch border around edge. Cut into 12 wedges. Roll up each wedge from pointed end to larger ,place, Point side down, on ungreased baking sheets.
6. Bake in a 350 oven 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on racks . Dust with Confectioners Sugar when cookies are cool.
