Soft Sugar Cookies

Another Christmas favorite. I hand decorate each one and the kids absolutely love them!

Ingredients

• 1 cup margarine or butter
• 4 1/2 cups flour
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 4 tsp baking powder
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream margarine, sugar and eggs together. Add sour cream and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder over the creamed mixture. Mix well. Roll 1/2" thick or less. Bake at 350F for 12-15 minutes.
