  • 1 German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2/3 C caramel ice cream topping
  • 4 chocolate covered toffee bars (Heath, chopped)
  • 8 oz whipped topping

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare and bake cake according to package directions in two greased, floured 8" round pans. Remove cakes from pans while still warm. With a skewer, poke holes in one of the rounds. Drizzle with 1/3 C caramel topping and half a can of milk. Sprinkle with 2 crushed candy bars. Place other cake round on top and repeat with caramel and milk. When ready to serve, top with whipped topping and remaining candy pieces. Serve chilled.
You can also make cake in a rectangle cake pan.
