Tomato Basil Salad

Ingredients
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 4 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp fresh oregano, chopped (or 1/4 tsp dried)
- 20 leaves fresh basil

Preparation
Step 1
To make each salad, arrange 1/4 of of tomato slices on each plate and top with 1/4 of onions. Drizzle with 1 tsp oil and season to taste with salt and pepper. Crumble a pinch of oregano over top. Let stand at room temperature at least 10 minutes for flavors to develop. Just before serving, arrange about 5 basil leaves on and under the tomatoes.
