  • 12 Ham slices
  • 24 Asparagus spears
  • 1/4 C Water
  • 1/4 C Flour
  • 2 C Milk
  • 1/2 t Horseradish
  • 1/2 t Salt
  • 1 C Whipped cream
  • 6 T Parmesan, finely grated

Step 1

1. You may first choose to blanche asparagus to soften, if you like it cooked to a softer texture. Roll two or three asparagus spears into each slice of ham, depending on size of spear. If ham is thin, may choose to use two slices per roll. Place fold-side down in 9x13 pan.

2. Dissolve flour into water. Mix in milk and horseradish, simmer until thickened into sauce. Meanwhile, beat cream to stiff peaks.

3. Fold stiffly whipped cream into sauce. Spoon over ham rolls. Top with parmesan.

4. Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Broil to brown top.
