Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package dry taco seasoning mix
  • 1/4 C water
  • 1 package egg-roll wrappers (large size)
  • 2 C refried beans (or 12 oz can)
  • 2 C shredded cheddar cheese
  • Hot vegetable oil
  • Hot sauce or salsa

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef, drain off fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer about 5 minutes. Cool.
Fill each egg-roll wrapper with 1 heaping T refried beans, 1 T meat mixture and 1 T cheese. Moisten ends of wrapper with water, fold ends and roll. Deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown. Serve with hot sauce.
