Ingredients
- 1 Large Chicken whole or cut up (I prefer whole)
- 4 large carrots sliced
- 1 cup rice
- 3 stalks celery sliced with leaves
- 2 large onions cut up
- salt
- pepper

Preparation
Step 1
In large pot cook chicken with onions, cook till done about 2 hours. Remove chicken from stock and add remaining ingredients...salt and pepper to taste.
Cut up chicken from bones removing all skin. Add chicken to soup and simmer till rice and veggies are done. I like to remove from heat leaving cover on pot and let sit for another hour...very hot ..I think the flavors blend even more while sitting.
