Ingredients

  • Hot Relish:
  • 2 pounds hot sausage
  • 6 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups flour
  • 8 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion flakes
  • Salt
  • 2 large onions
  • 10-15 hot peppers
  • 5 slices garlic

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or cover bottom of pan

Preparation

Step 1

Sausage Balls:

Allow cheese and sausage to reach room temperature. Mix with hands, gradually adding flour. Form into walnut size balls and bake about 10 minutes at 375 degrees or until brown. Serve with Hot Relish.

Relish:

Put all ingredients in pan. When above is soft, add 2 large cans tomatoes, mashed. Bring to a boil and then cool. Add 4-6 ounces Italian type Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted.
