Soft Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup of butter or margarine (may use Crisco)
• 1 1/2 cups of sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3 cups sifted flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1 cup sour cream
• cinnamon and sugar or colored sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, add sugar gradually, continue until creamy.

Add eggs one at a time beat each well. Add vanilla and beat until light and fluffy. Mix and sift flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add to cream mixture. Start and end with dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet,
Sprinkle top with cinnamon and sugar or colored sugar
