  • 1 pk. (3oz) cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 4 cups unsifted confectioners sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Step 1

Beat cream cheese and butter in large mixer bowl, until smooth. Blend in confectioners sugar and vanilla. If necessary, chill until mixture is firm enough to handle. Shape into one inch balls. Place on wax paper covered tray or baking sheet.

Cover loosely: chill three to four hours or over night. Centers should feel dry to touch before coating. Remove from refrigerator about 20 minutes before coating Makes about 6 dozen.
