- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 lb 4oz can crushed pineapple
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (5 3/4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding
- 1 cup sour cream
- 12 oz frozen whipped topping
- Chopped nuts or coconut

Step 1
Make cake according to directions on box and bake in a 9x13 pan at 350 for 35 - 40 minutes. While cake is baking put undrained pineapple and sugar in a pan and bring to a boil. When cake is done, poke holes in top with a fork and pour the pineapple sugar mixure over it. Make vanilla pudding according to the box using a little less milk and fold in the cup of sour cream. After the cake is cool, spread pudding over the top and spread whipped topping over that. Sprinkle with nuts and coconut if desired.
