  • 1 plan serving of chicken breast (8oz.)
  • Light Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sprinkle of garlic powder
  • Generous pinch of basil
  • 2 TBS. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 TBS. lemon zest
  • 1 thin slice of lemon

Step 1


Preheat oven to 400F. Sprinkle chicken with light salt, pepper and garlic. Place in shallow baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients except for the lemon slice and pour over chicken.

Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Turn chicken and taste with pan drippings. Bake 10 to 20 minutes more or until chicken is done.
