Ingredients

  • 2 (8oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can minced clams
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 (8oz) cans water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 (14oz) pkg small won ton wrappers
  • 3 cups vegetable oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, clans, green onions, water chestnuts, paprika and ground black pepper. Place about 1 tsp of filling into the won ton skin and seal to corner to form a triangle.

2. In a large skillet, heat oil to a high temperature. Fry the won tons until they are brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
NOTE: One reviewer baked at 350 for 15-20 mins. Can also just use ground beef and japs or chicken instead of clams and water chestnuts
