Ingredients
- 2 lb round steak
- 1 C bread crumbs
- 1/4 C parmesan cheese
- 1 t parsley (dry or fresh chopped)
- 1 t basil
- 1 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1 t garlic powder
- 4 eggs-hard boiled
- 4 slices ham or prosciutto
- 4 slices salami

Step 1
Divide the steak in two. Pound each piece as flat as you can. Mix the bread crumbs, cheese and the other dry ingredients together. Cover one piece of steak with 1/2 dry ingredients. Slice two eggs and place on top, add two slices each of ham and salami on top of eggs. Roll the meat, being careful not to lose the ingredients. Tie with white string to keep the roll together. Repeat so that you have two rolls. Brown the rolls in a large skillet in olive oil. Place them in tomato sauce and cook for about two hours. Remove the meat rolls from the sauce and cut into 3/4 inch slices. Arrange on platter and serve with tomato sauce.
