Peach Pie - by Jane

Ingredients

  • Pastry for 9 inch 2 crust pie
  • 5 cups sliced fresh peaches (about 9 medium)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Stir together sugar, flour and cinnamon. Mix with peaches.

Turn into pie pan and dot with butter. Cover with top crust (with slits cut into it). Seal and flute.

Cover edge with 2-3 inch strip of foil. Remove foil last 15 minutes.

Bake 45 minutes until crust is golden-brown.
