Kale Chips with Garlic and Sea Salt

By

I don't like kale, but these are good. The Chili and Garlic olive oil from HEB gave this a nice bite.

Preparation

Step 1

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

Pour 1 tsp olive oil in bottom of a large bowl. Add kale pieces and mix together - making sure all pieces of kale are covered with oil. Add second tsp. if needed, but don't make kale pieces soggy.

Arrange the pieces of kale on an unlined baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle with sea salt and garlic powder.

Bake for 10 minutes. Rotate the pan, flipping any pieces that are starting to look crispy and bake for another 10-15 minutes, watching the pan closely for the last 7-8 minutes to prevent over browning.

Remove the pan from the oven and leave the kale chips on the pan for 3-5 minutes before serving so they can crisp up even more!
