Ingredients
- First layer:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup margarine (melted)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- Second layer:
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 can eagle brand milk
- 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
- Melt in a double boiler. (I do it in the microwave oven). Bring to a small boil. Pour over baked first layer and bake another 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Cool and top with a chocolate icing. I use a container of frosting- milk chocolate or other type chocolate frosting.

Preparation
Step 1
First Layer
Mix sugar and cocoa together. Stir in margarine, eggs, and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour and salt. Stir in chopped nuts.

Second Layer
Melt in a double boiler. (I do it in the microwave oven). Bring to a small boil. Pour over baked first layer and bake another 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cool and top with a chocolate icing. I use a container of frosting- milk chocolate or other type chocolate frosting.
Bake in a greased cookie sheet (with a high edge) or a 9 x 13 " pan. At 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
