- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
- Additional confectioner's sugar for dusting

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large electric mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar and extracts until light and fluffy. Add flour and combine. add pecans and mix until dough forms.
2. Mold dough into half moon/cresants that are about 1 and a half inches long. Place onto ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown, check bottom on one cookie to ensure. Remove from oven and cool completely.
4. Put some confectioner's sugar in plastic bag and put between 3-4 cookies in and shake gently to coat cookies- place on serving tray. After all cookies are done, take sifter and do one final coat of sifted confectioner's sugar on top.
