Peanut Patties

Ingredients

• 3 cups sugar
• 1 cup Karo Light
• 1/2 cup water
• 5 drops red food color
• 1 stick oleo
• 3 cups salted Spanish peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar, syrup, and water and bring to a hard boil. Boil 5 minutes, remove from heat, then add food color, oleo and peanuts. Beat by hand until it holds its shape (may have to let cool). Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper (ready when it doesn't run).
