Ingredients
- 1 1/3 c water
- 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking oil
- 4 c. bread flour
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 tsp active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
- 2 tsp bottled minced roasted garlic
- 3 tbsp margarin or butter
- 1 c snipped parsley
- 3/34 c snipped fresh chives

Step 1
2 pound loaf size. Add first 7 ingredients to the machine according to manudacturer's directions. Seledt the dough cycle when cyle is complete, remove dough from machine. Punch down. Cover and let rest, 10 minutes. Meanwhile, for filling, in a small saucepan cook the roasted garlic in hot margarine or butter for 30 seconds. Remove from heat. Stir in the parsely and chices. Divide the dough into thirds. Rool into 16x10 inch rectangel. Spread each with a third of the filling almost to the edges. Starting from a long side loosely roll uup into a spiral. Moisten edge; pinch firmly to seal. Place, seam down, on a greased large baking sheet, tucking ends under.
Cover and let rise in a warm place for 35-45 minutes or until nearly double. BAke in a 350 oven for 25-30 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when lightly tapped. Remove; cool on a wire rack.
