Ingredients

  • Sautee in skillet and then transfer to slow cooker:
  • 3/4 ¾ C. chicken, cubed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 T. vegetable oil
  • Stir in:
  • 1 1/2 1 ½ C. water
  • 1 can (15 oz) white kidney beans or cannelini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) garbanzo bean, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (11 oz) whole kernel corn, drained or 1 ¼ C. frozen shoepeg corn
  • 1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies
  • 1 to 2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
