Christina's Potatoe Soup

Ingredients

  • 5-6 potatoes peeled and cut into large bite size chunks.
  • 4 slices cooked chopped bacon
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • chives chopped (optional)
  • 1/3 c. cubed Velveta cheese
  • salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Boil potatoes until done but still very firm. Drain water. Cook onion in butter until they are soft. Add all ingredients together with potatoes. Heat on low for 12-20 minutes, stirring often
