Ingredients

  • 5-6

    potatoes peeled and cut into large bite size chunks.

  • 4

    slices cooked chopped bacon

  • 1/2

    onion chopped

  • 2 1/2

    c. milk

  • chives chopped (optional)

  • 1/3

    c. cubed Velveta cheese

  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Boil potatoes until done but still very firm. Drain water. Cook onion in butter until they are soft. Add all ingredients together with potatoes. Heat on low for 12-20 minutes, stirring often
