Ingredients
- 3 lbs. potatoes
- 2 tbs. butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 3 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 ½ cup flour
- 1/2 ½ cup lard

Step 1
Peel and boil potatoes in salted water, and mash the potatoes. Melt butter and add the onion, garlic, and beef. Sauté mixture on low heat until brown. Transfer mixture to a bowl and add eggs. Season and form mixture into 6 balls, then divide the potatoes into 6 portions and cover each ball of meat with potatoes. Dip the balls in egg and flour and fry in lard over low heat.
