Ingredients

  • CHOCOLATE CHIP FILLING:
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Chocolate Chip filling
  • Walnuts
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 6 oz. chopped chips

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt. In another bowl beat water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Gradually add to dry ingredients until blended. Fill cupcake paper 1/2 full; top each will filling and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

FILLING:
Beat together cream cheese, egg and sugar until smooth. Stir in chips.


NOTE: Before baking, sprinkle with chopped nuts. Makes enough filling to use on double batter of cup cakes.
