Ingredients

  • Bottom layer:
  • 1 (1 lb.) can peaches
  • 1 (1 lb.) can apricots
  • 1 (1 lb.) can pears
  • 1 (1 lb.) can pineapple
  • 2 large ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 medium bottle cherries, chopped in juice
  • Top layer:
  • 1 (1 lb.) can applesauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter or oleo
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup pecans, chopped fine

Preparation

Step 1

Drain and cut into bite sizes first four ingredients. Add banana slices and cherries and their juice. Put all cut up fruit in a deep or shallow 3 quart baking dish.

Melt sugar and butter, add applesauce and heat. Cover fruit with this mixture.

Combine 1/2 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup pecans. Sprinkle over applesauce mixture. Bake 45-60 minutes at 325º. Serve hot.
