Jewish Coffee Cake

Ingredients

• In a large bowl measure:
• 6 Baking apples - medium peel and slice and set aside
• 3 cups cake flour
• 1 3/4 cups sugar
• 3 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• make a well in center and add:
• 1 cup oil
• 1/4 cup orange juice
• 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Start mixing in mixer bowl and add 4 eggs, 1 at a time, until all is blended.
Grease and flour Tube Pan.
Starting with batter, - 1/2 layer batter, a layer of sliced apples, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture, continue making layer ending with batten on top.
Bake 375 degrees
