    t. sugar

    c. cornmeal

    lg. eggs

  • 2

    T. cold water

    T. butter, softened

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease a 2 qt. baking dish; set aside. IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN, combine milk, salt, and sugar, heat over medium heat until milk is steaming. Remove from heat. Add cornmeal, whisking until mixture thickens. IN A LARGE BOWL, beat eggs, water, butter, and baking powder together. Add to cornmeal mixture. Pour into prepared baking dish. BAKE until puffy and lightly browned 25 to 30 minutes.
