Ingredients

  • 1 6-oz pkg (1 cup) semisweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 8-oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 3 TBSP honey
  • 1 9-inch baked pastry shell
  • 4 cups fresh, whole strawberries, stems and caps removed
  • Melted semisweet chocolate (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a saucepan, melt the 6 oz of chocolate and allow to cool.

2. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until softened. Gradually beat in melted chocolate and honey.

3. Spread mixture into the baked pastry shell. Cover and chill pie for 1 to 2 hours.

4. Place berries on top of pie, cut side down.

5. Drizzle with melted chocolate, if desired.
