Susan's Wonderful Pie

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup butter
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans
• 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
• 3 cups milk
• 9 -in. deep-dish pie shell
• whipped créme/cool whip
• 1 5 oz. package vanilla pudding & pie filling

Preparation

Step 1

Heat butter and brown sugar with nuts in saucepan until melted. Spread in bottom of pie shell, bake at +450 for 5 minutes, cool. prepare pie filling mix with milk as directed for pie; cool 5 minutes stirring occasionally.

Take one cup, cover with wax paper and ckill. Pour remaining pie filling in pie shell. Chill. Fold 1/3 of whipped creme into the chilled 1 cup of pie filling.

Spread over filling in pie shell. Chill. Garnish WIth remaining topping and pecans.
